Well hello there,
Look at me, back in your inbox so soon! Dropping by to share my plans for Awards Season and to say Happy New Year (despite my Larry David induced anxiety that it’s already too late for that). This is a quick read.
What’s your favorite szn? Mine is awards.
If I can get a drumroll please…it’s time for some often catty but sometimes complementary red carpet commentary! Here’s what you need to know.
So my plan is do to commentary via notes on Substack in real time (ish).
FYI - it’s gonna look like an X/Threads chain and you can most certainly respond and participate! A few scenes from a very happy NYE
Going out to NYE is overrated. I’ve literally never gone out of NYE and not regretted it at least a little bit. So when Mary agreed to be volun-told to host, my house party plans fell right into place. Thank GOD for friends who have a real house and cook and understand the dress code “cute, but we aren’t packing shoes.”
